Ivy had another busy month. She took her first steps, ditched the baby food for “big girl” food, knows how to wave bye-bye and learned how to point. Whenever she points, she says “dada” but it’s not what you think. At first we thought she was saying “daddy” but the more we watched her, we think she’s actually saying “what’s that?” when she points. She points at everything…over and over and over again. A typical interaction with Ivy these days goes a little something like this:
Me: Hi Ivy, whatcha doin’?
Ivy: Dada (while pointing at a tree)
Me: That’s a tree, Ivy.
Ivy: Dada (while pointing at a car)
Me: That’s a car, Ivy.
Ivy: Dada (while pointing at a tree)
Me: That’s still a tree, Ivy.
Anyways, enjoy the new pics. We tossed in some pics from the pumpkin patch too. Ivy had a blast. She picked out the perfect pumpkin, went on another hay ride and checked out the animals at the petting zoo with mom, dad, grandma and grandpa.

Great pictures. Thanks again for letting us share the “photo weekend”! We had a great time. Be sure to sing “The Wheels On The Bus” to Ivy for me! Love, Grams
